A fresh aroma of fruit and wood leads into complex yet perky flavors of sweet pear and spice, with a warm, oaky finish. Reposado's sophistication makes it perfect for drinking straight, but its spritzy zest also gives it limitless mixing possibilities.
Aroma after the pour is lean and paraffin-like; swirling and additional time in the glass stimulate more expressive aromas of black pepper, sea salt and jalape?o pepper. Palate entry is tight, acidic and keenly peppery; by the midpalate stage, the flavor profile's sinewy character goes totally dry and spicy. Ends up very trim.
